Open Call for Submissions: Technophany

September 30, 2021

Open call for special issue proposals and article submissions for Technophany, Journal for Philosophy and Technology.

Technophany is a journal dedicated to the thinking of science and technology. It is founded in view of the need to create a singular and unconventional space for reflections on philosophy and technology, which is diminishing today due to conventional academic practices and reluctance to confront challenges imposed by the industrial world. Technophany aims to facilitate original reflections and provocations on the philosophy and history of technology, and contribute to the reshaping of the contemporary landscape of thought.

The journal is currently working on a special issue on Cosmotechnics in Latin America (launching late 2021) and a special issue on Technofeminism (2022). We are now open to proposals for special issues on subjects related to philosophy and technology.

To submit, please provide a one-page abstract or proposal with a list of potential contributors, alongside a brief biography and CV and links to examples of writing.
